This beautifully crafted item is made by the 'Rungus' community and is made from beads which it strung on warp threads.
The 'Rungus' community are mainly found in Kudat and Bengkoka Peninsular in the Northern part of Borneo Island. They live communally in long houses and are well known for their beadwork.
